Content pane

The pane on the far left is the Content pane. It’s divided into three subpanels — Elements, Components and Symbols — and it’s where you add the content of your website.

The Content pane

Elements

Under Element, a single click on an element icon adds simple page elements — lists, text links, picture links — but also complex prebuilt elements like form containers, buttons and videos, either to the canvas or into a container.

The full catalogue is covered in the elements overview.

Components

The Components subpanel

The second subpanel, Components, is the holding place for all the prebuilt components included within the project — navigations, cards, modals. Anything downloaded from the Component Library appears here. If you want to save a feature of your own as a component, you manage that from this panel too.

See what are components for the full picture.

Symbols

The Symbols subpanel holds elements that need to stay in sync across every place and page of the project — a logo, a page header, a menu, a footer. When you add a new page, this is where you come to inject those synced features into it.
