Publish to Other Hosting Providers
CoffeeCup doesn’t lock you in! You’re free to publish to any hosting provider.
The Export method generates a folder containing every file your website needs — HTML, CSS, JS, and every asset. That gives you the freedom to upload the site to your own hosting service, using any upload utility.
- Export to a folder.
- Use FTP or your hosting provider’s file manager to publish to your site.
Starting an export
Click the Export toolbar icon, or go to File → Export, to begin the export process.
Where the files go next
Site Designer produces the folder; getting it onto a server is a separate step, done with whatever upload tool your host expects — most commonly an FTP or SFTP client, or your host’s own upload panel. CoffeeCup’s own FTP utility for this is a separate app, not a feature built into Site Designer — see FTP publishing.
